ETS Far West Region Annual Meeting

CALL FOR PAPERS

The faculty and staff at Grand Canyon University and Grand Canyon Theological Seminary are delighted to welcome ETS members and guests to our campus for the Far West Regional meeting on March 31, 2023.

Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Vincent Bacote, Professor of Theology and Director of the Center for Applied Christian Ethics, Wheaton College. The conference theme, “The Church and its Public Faithfulness” has its roots in Dr. Bacote’s publications and the critical need for academic reflection upon the church’s role in society.

Paper submissions are welcomed to align with the conference theme, but abstracts can focus upon other areas of Bible, theology, history, or ministry. The deadline for paper submissions will be January 31, 2023.

PROPOSALS ETS members of any rank and any region are welcome to submit a paper proposal. Graduate student ETS members are encouraged to submit abstracts. Presenters should expect to present for 30 minutes with 10 minutes left for discussion. Please email your proposal with the following information:

• Name & Institutional Affiliation • Title of paper • Abstract (max 250 words) • Indicate if you are an ETS member • Submit proposals to etsfarwestregion@gmail.com • Deadline: January 31, 2023

REGISTRATION Presenters and attendees must register for the conference. Early Registration Fees (no later than February 28)
