We are pleased to announce the Canyon Emerging Scholars program that will launch Fall 2023!! 

The mission of the Canyon Emerging Scholars (CES) program is to foster co-curricular and extra-curricular faculty disciplinary research that involves mentoring students in hands on problem solving on disciplinary and interdisciplinary topics. In alignment with the Boyer model of scholarship, a wide array of scholarly outcomes are encouraged, including applied, integrative, and discovery approaches to research. Fundamental to this type of engaged scholarship is a need for a reflective practice that is both interdisciplinary and community engaged.
