As a GCU student, sometimes you are required to complete a research study. Sometimes you want to build your resume, make connections, or learn through hands-on research. Whatever your reason is, here are a few of our mostly commonly used resources that might be of interest to you.

GCU Library

It isn't just for finding articles! The GCU Library provides expert research and reference assistance to the scholarly community. In addition to interlibrary loan, journal selection guidance, citation management strategies and assistance with literature search strategies, the library provides support through several programs specifically developed for researchers. Among these are: Ask-A-Librarian for personalized assistance with creating effective search strategies for research topics, database navigation, resource tools, including RefWorks & EndNote Web, personalized database accounts, search alerts, citation formatting, persistent links, and more; and, Research Guides, which lists by topic of resources available in the Library and on the Internet to help you improve professional and technical writing skills. 

CIRT

The Center for Innovation in Research and Teaching isn't just for faculty. One of our most popular resources is Research Ready. We have more than 20 asynchronous, self paced, training modules to help make sense of research concepts like developing a literature review, designing a survey, qualitative and quantitative methods, writing for publication, preparing for a presentation and more! We also offer opportunities to become involved in a study as a research assistant and maybe even publish in the Canyon Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies.
